Non-Core Field Amendments (No Approval Required)

Non-core amendments do not require officer approval and are auto-updated on the GST portal. Non-Core Fields Include: Bank account details, Business activity details, List of goods and services, Authorized signatory details, Contact details (except email/mobile), Minor changes in business address within the same state. Changes reflect automatically after submission.

Limitations & Time Limits

The following cannot be amended: PAN details, Change of state (requires new GSTIN), Change in business constitution requiring new PAN, Direct replacement of primary authorized signatory. Time Limits: Filing amendment - Within 15 days of change, Officer approval - Within 15 working days, Reply to clarification notice - Within 7 days, Auto-approval (if no action) - After expiry of timeline. Approval granted for address changes within 15 working days.
